Born in Akron, OH, Aretta began singing as a young child, but it was not until the age of eight that the Akron community started to recognize her extraordinary vocal ability. Hill Temple First Born Church granted Aretta her first platform to release her music ministry. Surprised by the tremendous range of her vocals and the ability to create music she moved the heart and soul of the audience. Rooted in good music such as Gospel, Neo-Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Rock, and Pop, and armed with the conviction that this was truly her path in life. She was also recently featured on Soultracks http://www.soultracks.com/ as a spotlight artist and received a raving review.

Aretta embraced the dedication it takes to make it in the music business and has been blessed with an abundance of talents. She can produce her own Music, writes songs, as well as plays the drums, bass guitar, and the keyboard. Everyday she invests in perfecting her many artistic crafts. Her voice is definitely distinctive, possessing a uniquely sultry, soothing, hypnotic, fluid, voice which compels the listener to cry out for more. And it is this vocal talent that has afforded her the opportunity to sing for great artists such as T-Mo Goodie from Goodie Mobb, Ken Orr and Slow Motion Soundz.
